Unparalleled in terms of ambition, scale and complexity for ANZ New Zealand, the programme will bring together a highly capable, multi-disciplinary team of experts from across the bank to drive this change.
The role is responsible for co-ordinating input from across the Line 2 Risk functions (includes Market & Treasury, Credit, Financial Crime, Capital & Reporting, Credit Modelling, Operational Risk & Compliance) to support programme planning and delivery. This includes identifying key dependencies for each Risk function and bringing together appropriate Risk SME resource to support each phase of the programme delivery lifecycle.
Additional responsibilities include:
Supporting best practice project disciplines adopted within Banking Foundations through the identification and capture of key risks and issues and tracking of deliverables through project workflow tools (e.g., JIRA)
Provision of reporting on key issues / updates in relation to the Risk workstream through to governance forums
Representing the Risk on other programme workstreams as required

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Broad risk management experience that would ideally include:
Detailed knowledge of at least one financial risk discipline (Retail Credit, Wholesale Credit, Market & Treasury Risk) that includes an understanding of the end-to-end process and system architecture underpinning the management of these risks
Good understanding of the non-financial risk frameworks including how these frameworks interact with financial risk management
Strong communication, facilitation, influencing skills with proven ability to manage wide stakeholder networks
Very strong skills in problem solving, curious mind, and strategic thinking
Driven by initiative and highly capable of operating autonomously both to understand the work that is required and how to go about getting that work done using their own and the organisations people & resources
Project life cycle experience including delivery in complex business environments
